What are two things every girl wishes for???

1, To be Rich and 2, To be Skinny. Well thanks to Michael Glasser this dream has come true. And, we like to have a good laugh at ourselves also.

Launching in select high-end boutiques and department stores in late November of 2006, Rich and Skinny is an exciting collection created to fill a void in the denim market. Rich and Skinny was launched as a partnership between Michael Glasser, founder of denim heavyweights Seven for All Mankind and later, Citizen of Humanity and Designer Joie Rucker, former owner of the wildly successful brand Joie. Glasser's hands on experience, coupled with his comprehensive business and retail experience along with Rucker's design vision has brought this brand to the forefront of the premium denim brands. Joie has since moved on to offer her talents to other denim brands.

After studying the market and trends, Glasser found the denim market to be stagnant and has searched all the denim mills for the most comfortable, flattering fabrics with unique stretch denim that blends cotton with elastin, hence, the idea to create a new denim line was formed. Besides its incredible fabrics, Rich and Skinny is also known for their incredibly sexy yet comfortable fits. Rich and Skinny offers many styles ranging from a basic straight leg named "Sleek", a super stretch denim legging called "Legacy", to a slight boot-cut called "Rich" and a modern wide leg jean called "Bellissima", as well as our "Boyfriend" jean fit which has been a front-runner in the boyfriend trend. These are just a few key silhouettes; however Rich and Skinny also offers new fashion silhouettes each new season to watch out for! Rich and Skinny offers the latest washes in denim, in all different hues. What further sets itself apart from all other denim brands is its color palette; offering customers the choice to wear a range of cool colored denim washes. Other exciting details are their buttons that were inspired by a vintage Cartier men's cufflink that are rose gold in color and the inside trim and pocketing that is silk lined; all add to the beauty and richness of this new incredible line.

When Michael Glasser and Joie Rucker got together to create a new denim line it was inevitable they would launch a brand women would want to wear. "Rich" is for all the details, "Skinny" is for how the jeans make you look and feel, but you don't have to be either to wear our jeans! Over the five years of it's existence, Rich and Skinny has garnered quick and steady success with retailers and can be found in select high end stores such as Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, specialty stores across the US, and a variety of online boutiques.
